Turning a house into a home

Ok... for all my "international" readers who understand a little bit of spanish, read and understood that I had the shittiest month on last May. To make it short, my two grandfathers died within only 11 days... bad bad timing... but still Im pretty happy for all the time and great relationship that we had... and also because I had the luck to share some more time with them this year... I was really afraid that something could happen when I was in France studying... Anyways... in the good side of life, I moved out from my parents place to a house, just 1 block away from them (kinda like "everybody loves raymond" situation) . Is my parent's house too... actually, I was born and raised in this house, so there's a really strong bond between me and this place... 120 sq meters, nice small garden and small terrace :D
So, as a title to this post I stole one of Luther Vandross great lines, and I started turning a rusty , old and forgotten "crib" to a bachellor's dream... (by the way... FUCK the last family that rented this place... FUCKING GYPSYS!)
It was pretty fucked up in the beginning... not only because of my grandfathers situation, but also because I got robbed some 2 weeks after I moved in... ain't that a bitch !!!! (thanks to johnny "guitar" watson for that line too) ... so one notebook, a digital camera, a gameboy advance an a dvd minus, I started working to turn this house into a home...
It is incredible what u can do with some power tools !!! after a 2 month work, and lamps, couches, chairs and tables, beds (yeeeeeah ladies), 32'' lcd tv, poker chips, a big fat bar, a nice office-type desk, a new desktop computer and many many magazines in the bathroom, I feel that I have only details left to finish this masterpiece of entertainment, cooking and relaxation :D
Im planning to do an "openning party" here, and since I dont have a digital camera, I'll have to borrow one to share this piece of heaven with you later.
Of course I have a guest room fuckers, so anyone who wants to come here and visit, feel free to do it !! and you will be amazed about the "chilean attitude" and how warm a welcome could be :D
Take care my friends
